eSign Security and Architecture
Our architecture is built on a privacy-first principle: process only what is required, keep external data exposure minimal, and store durable customer records in Atlassian-managed systems.
All eSign signature and document records are stored within your Atlassian cloud environment using Atlassian-managed encrypted storage layers.
To support enterprise-grade performance and scale, signature processing runs in an isolated SOC 2 compliant Render.com environment. For AGC customers, processing is executed on dedicated U.S.-hosted nodes separated from commercial U.S. and EU processing regions. No customer data is permanently stored in the processing tier.
Data in transit between Atlassian and the processing tier is protected with industry-standard TLS encryption. Operational access is governed by strict least-privilege controls, and our team does not have access to any customer signature or document records.
